From 2011 Enrico is the official testimonial of Darsena Le Saline!
Thanks to this collaboration in Marina activities are carried out useful for the diffusion of sailing and sport, such as the Sail With The Champion event, in which Enrico puts his professionalism at the disposal of the navy users, involving them in a highly technical training to edge of famous racing boats, such as the legendary “Moro di Venezia”.
Enrico fells in love with sailing when he was very young, thanks to vacations with his parents in sailboats. He begins taking sailing lessons when he was seven, at the yacht club in Chioggia (Circolo Nautico Chioggia), close to where he lives.
He still belongs to this club which made him an honorary member in 2007 in recognition of his activity in this sport. It does not take long for the lessons to show results and Enrico soon begins to sail with Optimist in races throughout Italy and to enjoy a certain success.
In 1995 Enrico moves up to the Laser class, a category in which he wins the area championship for four consecutive years, as well as numerous other awards in both Italian and international races. From 2000 to 2004 he sails with the Italian National Team and with the Marine Military Forces Team.
In 2012 Enrico is the local expert for Emirates Team New Zealand during the Americas cup World Series event in Venice.
In 2013 Enrico is Team Manager of Team Italy Powered by Stig, the only Italian team that participated in the Red Bull Youth Americas Cup Selections Series in San Francisco
In 2014 he is the Testimonial of the Venice International Boat Show sailing events.
In 2015 Enrico in the role of mainsailtrimmer/tactician partecipate at the Extreme Sailing Series one of the most important circuit for professional sailor. He sail in Singapore, Muscat, Qingdao, Cardiff, Amburgo, San Pietroburgo, Istanbul, Trieste e Sydney.
Now, under the flag of “North West Garda Sailing”, he participate at the best circuits such as professional like: J70, TP52, Swan 60, Melges, ORC, IRC, Extreme 40, GC32 and Match Race as helmsman, tactician or mainsail trimmer. His aim is to improve and increase his sailing experience by competing with the great champions of this sport in the hope that his determination will help him achieve ever more prestigious results.
